Amazing for any rates! Slash into 1 inches parts will fit in a very lightweight survival package and be more effective than firelighters that seem to decompose eventually. Mentioned are big! Usefully functional either whole as they are, broken or cut-up into more compact components, shaven for good tinder, or feathered as firesticks for tinder. The Maya wood will get the flame heading no matter what the weather or how bad the problems. As well as smelling lovely as well!
